R Fry
Just wondering if anyone has used the CS Coatings UV Seal Coating for their cranks. I found in on line doing a search and it looks like it would be pretty easy to use for the clear coat. Let me know. Thanks, RF
Cougarftd
I have used it on a limited basis (about a dozen baits) ...dip and hang worked well...did not work well on my turner. High gloss hard finish...after 3 times out holding up well
fishmanmark
I have been using it for about three years now on repaint's works fine. One thing i will say the longer you let it cure the harder the finish.I have only had to dip the bait's one time each which was nice. And as far as any yellowing not yet i have had a bait stuck up by my heater vent in my truck I for the life of me cant get out lol. It's been there little more than a year now and still looks good
Skeeter
Where can you buy enough of this stuff to dip? I can only find small jars of it for sale. Skeeter

willowblade
The CS Coatings seal coat and UV blast seal coat can both be used on crankbaits. You can either dip the lure into the seal coat and hang it to dry, or you can brush it on in several thin coats and build it up slowly. Both finishes will produce a durable, crystal clear finish on your lures. Seal Coat UV Blast Seal Coat
bobv
Did not pass the submersion test for me, it turned cloudy over night. Easy to use and easy to clean just not for me.
Matt Moreau
Ya from the looks of what i could find it seems like just another poly
toadfrog
Seal coat needs to be cured for not less than 24 hrs. before hitting the water . I generally put anything from CS under infrared heat . at least 115 degrees circulated air . If you are going to use this type of coating I reccomend investing in an OSHA approved vapor mask.
