The Dutchman
I use pins when I hake my football heads. However, my f-30 brush guards do not fit - too big. what would I use to enlarde hole to size? What do you use?
Basseducer
Dutchman, I used to drill out all the holes after powder painting and curing. I then made a set of oversized pins that eliminate that step. I make a football jig that takes a 5/32 weedguard I made pins out of .085 music wire and it makes a hole that allows the weedguard to fit snugly after painting. I spray my powder paint. Hope this helps. I'm sure others will have more ideas.

However, my f-30 brush guards do not fit - too big. what would I use to enlarde hole to size? What do you use? Is it that they don't fit before or after painting? If they don't fit before painting it may be that the pin is worn do a tiny bit or something like that, I wouldn't know another cause. If it is after painting well you can get teflon pins to keep paint from getting the hole or you can take a 1/8" drill bit and use it by hand to clear oht the paint until tghe weedguard fits or you can thin the weedguard out a bit until it fits. Jig Man
I use a 1/8" drill bit to make my Fg 30 and 40 fit after painting.

softworm
Get some teflon pins ( I got mine from cadman). Use them in place of the ones you got with the mold. Leave them in when powder painting, after painting take them out and cure in oven. No drilling to do with the teflon pins. Save a bunch of time
cadman
Get some teflon pins ( I got mine from cadman). Use them in place of the ones you got with the mold. Leave them in when powder painting, after painting take them out and cure in oven. No drilling to do with the teflon pins. Save a bunch of time x2. Ever since I found that this works so well, I have never gone back to metal pins again. BTW you can also use another set if you want to use them for pouring your weedless jigs. Much easier to take out. I have been stuck with hook points too many times in the past trying to pry out metal pins. Not no more
