Jig Man
One of my injection molds is a Jacob's stinger which has bitty cavities for eyes. When I rig the stingers, I cut off the nose. Then I glue the baits to a jig head with eyes on it. I think that they look a little silly with two sets of eyes so I am thinking about filling in the eye cavities. I have done this very successfully with JB Weld on jig head molds. One of them has been going for 10 years and has done thousands of jig heads. Will JB work on an aluminum mold that is for plastic baits? If not, what should I use?
MonteSS
Yes JB Weld will work fine, but the fish dont care how many eyes it has ....Bill
toadfrog
You can always pour lead in it . cut where you want . Put the head back on the mold . That way you don't damage the mold . I do that if I want a master for a silicone mold .
