martbaz
I add my scent just before pouring as well as colors and glitters and such I put a lot 8-12 drop for 1 cup of plastisol.....if you put it at the same time as your color you can see if you mixed it in thoroughly ... Or so I think
D.J.
Yes, add right before you pour. It seems to be more potent when doing it this way. As far as scents go, there is no better on the market than Upper Hand Scents. Top notch service and amazing scents.
garthsnooks
Does the 350 degree heat used in heating plastisol negate the scent?? seems to me it would...and that a topical application would be more effective..and a lot more messy!! That's just my opinion, Does anyone now the answer??
martbaz
i believe it does reduce the scent but to completely negate the scent i sont think it does i have tried putting some scent in with a few cycles left and it did still smell pretty strong

No it does not.Been adding scent to hot plastic for 9 years and it stinks.I also add to the finished baits. If you do it inside your house you will Know it.Only scent i will not add while cooking plastic is coffee scent. It will run everyone out of the house. Saltfisher
I was adding to the hot plastic, but started just adding to the finished bait. Seems the bait will soak some of it up after a few days.
gordon
I only ever add to finished baits, diluted with worm oil. I don't use much scent at all, the finished baits soak the scent up with the oil.
