RayburnGuy Posted November 13, 2012 Report Share Posted November 13, 2012 If you have an electric motor rewinding shop close to where you live they might be an excellent source for copper wire. When they rewind a motor they cut the old wire out for scrap. Now mind you they don't just throw it away given the price of copper these days, but you might pick some up for scrap prices.
