New to forum, wanted to post a couple Photos.

Hi everyone, my name is Rich, and I wanted to post a couple of photos of some lures I made three or four years ago, I am down to these four left, I learned to retie often after loosing six of them in three or four year do to not retying them often. They are not pretty but they still catch fish. have a great day, Rich.

Rich, some of my most productive lures are the ones that aren't pretty anymore! I think they look great! Most fish aren't all shiny and flawless. I think they're attacked because they look 'tired'.

Can you elaborate on your baits? It looks like the hook point exits through a slot in the top due to pressure from the mouth of the fish?

How's the hookup ratio?

Welcome rich, They look pretty to me, Heck some of my mostly used baits look like they've been through the war. I think some fish go for the rustic look.

Question about you're, the hook, how does it get set. Pressure from the bottom? It's a neat looking set up. Again, Welcome and we'll hope to see some more of your work.

ahhhh, question answered while I was asking. Thanks rich. They look pretty good.

The hook up ratio is very good really, you just have to give the lure a slight tap as soon as you get the bight, so the fish tries to hold the lure, then just a slight pop of the rod tip will extend the hook, the hook kind of free floats in the bait after it is out, which i think helps allot. Yep, the 2nd pic is there. I like the idea. I'm kind of partial to hook up tackle anyway. You have a neat idea there. Should push on with it and see what happens. Thanks for posting the 2nd pic.

I am more interested with custom rod building right now, I kind of feel I have took that lure design as far as I want to. I tried to show that design, and a design that is even more unusual but so effective, to a fishing tackle company, and I was basically told neither design would be good to introduce into the fishing industry because they were to different from everybody else's lures. I would like to show photos of another design, it deals with the soft bait lures and would be used for any soft plastic bait. I am just not sure about giving it out. I am sure it would make every soft-bait user so happy, but I also know that some company would put a patent on it and make a fortune. As much as i would like to share the concept with all the people who use soft plastics, i do not like how tight nit the lure industry really is. I will break down some day and give my best Idea away just to think it made a lot of fisherman happy. Thank you for your comments and have a great day, Rich.

Thank you both for your nice replies, I was hoping I did not come off as a rude stupid person. The other concept I have is so simple yet effective at what it does. It tears me up inside because it would be great to see people fishing that way and have them say, have you tried this and tell them I thought of it, and smile when they say ya wright.
