My New Cnc Molds.

I recently bought 5 Collins molds and one Hilts. I'm really happy with all of them. You can tell some though went into the Collins molds. They pour well and the channel is easy to cut off. The hilts is a big mojo bullet head twelve oz and I put a 10/0 13020 gamakatsu with a #3 stainless eyelet long. Was out and used brass for a few. Two fish jig molds 1-16oz and a shad head 6,8,&10 oz. I felt like a kid receiving a new toy when I got them.

Nice! I bught the same fish jig mold 10-12-16oz. from Collins.

I also have the Hilts big mojo bullet head but in the 24oz size. The big mojo bullet heads are extremely popular up here paired with a boneyard baits 11" grub tail for trophy Halibut and Lingcod.

Is Shawn going out of business or what? He's always been hard to get in contact with, double so now, doesn't even answer inquiries via Ebay? I'd like to get another mold from him that's a smaller size of the hidden weight he's now offering online, something that includes a 1/4 and 1/8th but it's impossible to get a response.

He has been very good to me I even offered him a lot more money for the jig head mold and he still did it cheap. I would try emailing him and putting in the subject line what you are looking for. Maybe try using another email address. Sorry about the trouble I've been trying for awhile and those two things worked for me. Was well worth the wait and I'm happy I got what I needed. They also paid for themselves in about two weeks.

There is a lot of rumor of what has happened and what is going on . I heard many stories, however with that said I will not post my opinion here.

Andy when he makes a mold he does a phenominal job with it. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about his quality. Also heard that all his molds pour really well. BTW nice looking molds. I'm sure you will get some excellent pours with those.

Don't understand comment above, but Thanks for posting the mold pics. I always wanted to see the insides of Shawn Collins's molds.

Here's a pic of the 12oz hilts bullet head with a 13020 gamakatsu hook. What a great hook. Made some of these for grouped in the gulf and halibut in Alaska.I use a number three long stainless eye and twist it around the eye of the hook but I was out of stainless. That keeps the hook straight in the mold. I doubt it would come out either way.
