nova
Where are the chips and how big. A pic would be very helpful. I repair flaws in a POP mold by mixing a small amount of plaster. This mixture has to be quite a bit more fluid than what you mixed to pour the mold. Then you take smal amounts of the mixture and fill in the flaws. You may have to apply the repair in a couple of layers especially if the mold is dry. Once you have the repair done and dry you can seal the mold. luraddikt
I did try on another mold i made as a test to get a feel for what i'm doing , but i think the mix was too thick...it set up as i was trying to apply it .Also, this stuff doesn't seem to be sandable at all. I will try going much thinner. I was wondering if there is a wood fill or maybe bondo or something like that that will work

ipt
this stuff doesn't seem to be sandable at all. get one of those little foam sanding blocks: https://fintechabrasives.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/product/firm_hand_pad2.jpg hold it under water and sand, works like a charm. no dust either. luraddikt
thanks to all for input....repairs are working out well. i've read that i should seal mold with mod podge. is this the most common or best technique ?
ipt
mod podge is good, but pretty thick. i use it on the outside of my molds. i use elmers glue & water 50/50 for the inner cavity. some people use thinned down epoxy, i cant really comment on that other than elmers is a lot cheaper & cleaner to work with.

rev. taz
I have been using modge podge on my outer surfaces, and epoxy inside my molds..... I haven't tried the 50/50 glue yet, though I did go from a 5 minute set to a 30 minute set on my epoxy... its amazing the small tidbits of helpful stuff one can pick up on in here....
