R Glover
Does anyone know where I can get any 3 blade's? I checked out a lot of the big guys, seems like they don't make them anymore. Thanks, Rube
smalljaw
Try Hagens, if they don't have any then nobody makes them.

smallmouthaholic
Why all of the tears?? A 4 blade plastic buzz-bait allows for a slower retreive and fewer missed strikes.
R Glover
I use it with a clacker blade, the quad (With a clacker) just doesn't attract the Bass as well as the 3 blade. Just a different sound. I use these night fishing.
smallmouthaholic
I experienced the opposite- the 4 bladed plastic blade w/ the clicker . Different strokes for different folks-I prefer the advantage of the slower, surface retrieve w/ the 4 bladed buzzbait. They just come up and suck it in w/the ultra-slow surface retrieve- no trailer hook required. smalljaw
I have to agree with Smallmouthaholic on this because I remember buying the old strike king buzz baits just for the blade because they were the only company in the 80's that made a triple wing aluminum blade. That aluminum blade was the cats pjamas until I found the quad wing plastic blades. I have a friend who makes them because I don't want to invest in a heavy duty wire bender but he makes them for me with the quad blades and when the fish only swirl at my war eagle the quad blade from my friend will make them commit because you can reel it ultra slow yet still make a good commotion to get them to look. While I know how it feels when something you like can't be found, it is usually because there is something better, we as angler need to just try it.
