Jig Man
I finally came up with a system for installing my 2mm eyes and have several hundred on. Now I am getting ready to put the 4.5s on my Poison Tail jigs. They are a perfect match for the recessed eye socket. They also have a lot more adhesive than the 2mm ones. If I put a dab of superglue in the socket then the 4.5 mm eye do you think that will suffice or do I need to epoxy them to keep them on. I don't want to put several hundred on with the superglue if I have to go back and epoxy over them to keep them on the jig heads. What are you guys doing? Basseducer
Jig Man, I super glue them on and go over the head with 2T. I haven't tried fishing them with just the super glue. I haven't had any issues yet.
smalljaw
I use D2T to seal them up and I don't use super glue on them. The only eyes I use the glue for are some 1/8" diameter eyes I got cheap and the adhesive is bad so I have to glue them on but using WTP eyes I just stick them on and then seal with epoxy. smallmouthaholic
Brush some Sally Hanson's "Hard as Nails" over the eyes.Short, sweet and simple w/ no mixing required.
Tony Maxwell
I most always go over with D2T and I usually add glitter to it. Fancys them up a bit. Don't use any super glue. Just stick them on then coat. Tony
