Saltfisher
My dad got his blending block from bass tackle, and a bunch of stuff from bears. I took my bears injector and supplies over to his house to show him how to use everything. (i never used a blending block). I figured I would try the popular red shad color. Red looks like its a little too dark, but otherwise looks awesome and everything worked great!!! Its black with silver holo flake on one side, and just the red shad color on the other with no flake. 2nd picture I was messing around with chart. tips and they turned out awesome as well!! Black with silver flake, and chart. tips with a little silver flake. also 1st attempt. I cant wait to use this stuff. kevtherev
I think you hit a home run in your first at bat with the blending block.

Bassinfool
I'll have to post some pictures of mine sometime, but the only camera I have is on my cell so they don't turn out that well. How are you doing the chart tails if you don't mind my asking? The baits looks great by the way, getting the blending block right the first time isn't easy for some people. I think you could lighten up the red like you said but what you got there will work just as well I'm sure.

Frank
Now that you got the two color thing down you will have to work with the colors. What I mean by that is when you have two color baits the colors look different. Like on the red and black one. The red look dark because the black is showing through the red. I have many color formulas that are designed for laminates and hold there colors well. You will have to watch to make sure colors don't bleed. Does to matter much if one colors is black but it will on lighter colors. Chartreuse is a bad one but not all will bleed. On the blending block using the whole Twinjector makes it much easier to get great results consistently. Good work. Frank
Bassinfool
These are a few of the key lime pie baits I made for myself the other day. I know the picture isn't the best the camera on my phone is very poor and these were taken in the garage that is not very well lit. Anyways, I was pretty lucky in getting pretty good laminates the very first time I used the blending block. I guess I will have to upload some pics of my other baits to the gallery at some point. carolinamike
Al is right, thats the best first ive ever seen. Also frank has give you some good advice, almost all clear chartruse will bleed, on the red shad looks it like a little bit more pearl in the red and you will be dead on the money. Keep in mind that bleeding is what you want with red shad, red shad gets its full effects when the red bleeds into the black. When first made it almost never looks like the store bought ones but after a week or so of bleeding you will have a perfect match. Remember true pigment do not bleed but all dyes are bleeding colors
Saltfisher
Thanks for the good words, and advice. I didnt add any pearl in the red. That will be next. I was very suprised when i was checking them out and they were half/half right in the dead center. I was like "wow.... this thing works awesome!" lol Im thinking of getting a BT twin injector. I just think it will be a little easier with everything attacthed.

carolinamike
The standard is white pearl powder, the super silk that LureWorks sells works very very well.
