vishezfish Posted May 23, 2004 Report Share Posted May 23, 2004 I caught my first 4 bass on my own lure that I made!! i made my sculpture, make the mold and made some melts with old baits.... Going to graduate to Calhoun plastic and dyes in the next week or so!! Anyway, thanks for the info u guys share it helps us new guys....!! My question is I made a 5 inch jerkbait out of clay and I want to make a mold..... Using plaster or waterputty like senko sam said he used... the question is do I make it a 2 part mold or one part mold? If it's a one part mold, I should slowly put the clay in the plaster from bottom to top....?? I also want to make a bait with many colors in it, so I figured it might be easier to do it in a one piece mold, like the bottom is white, then add gray/ black or whatever....
