Slimeslinger Posted February 10, 2013 Report Share Posted February 10, 2013 I was wanting to know what hooks do you use for do it molds spinnerbaits, I was wanting to use a gamakatsu hook if I could. I am going to be using the do it mold with the minnow head and skirt holder. Is there are any other hooks you would recommend? Gamakatsu, Owner, Trokar it really is your decision. I found a quality hook that won't break the bank, the VMC 7250 Black nickel spinnerbait hook. willowblade Posted February 27, 2013 Report Share Posted February 27, 2013 There are several good spinnerbait hooks on the market. Like you stated, the Gamakatsu 550spinnerbait hook is very nice. Owner andTrokar also have extremely sharp spinnerbait hooks. The Gamakatsu and Owner hooks are a nickelfinish and the Trokar hooks are black nickel.
