garthsnooks
Would like some opinions on best medium priced jig hooks (for light/med saltwater use), preferrably black nickel. Not Trokar, Gama, Owner etc, too expensive to mass produce, Thanks
Jig Man
Take a look at Shorty's Hook Sales. They have always had good prices on the hooks that they carry.
cadman
Mustad would be one of the choices and now with the retooling of Eagle Claws and them being made in U.S.A, my choice for quality ,black nickle or platinum finish and above all cost, I would pick Eagle Claw. Mustad has had some hook point issues ever since they moved their facility to China. They may have solved the problem, however Eagle Claw, has made great leaps and bounds as far as quality, and they are less costly than Mustad with a superb finish. bryanmc
I've been trying the Eagle Claw black platinum hooks and so far they're working very well.
PeteZipczech
for the best value with quality I would stick with Mustad or Eagle Claw.
