Mumpy
Hey guys, I am looking for a way that I can wire in a Spinnerbait blade to a wire form. I understand there are different routes I could take to get the spinnerbait blade attached to the wire form but I am specifically looking for a way to make this work. Basically I would like to take a wire form, bend it, attach the blade and then finish the wrap so the blade is permanent to the wire form. I really appreciate your help on this. Thank you
smalljaw
Before I can help you I need to know how is the blade going to spin? If you attach the blade to a wire form so it can't be removed it isn't going to spin either.
Mumpy
I don't need it to spin, I just need it attached. I guess what I'm trying to find out Is if there is any tool out there where I can make that bend and twist with the blade attached as such? Thank you for your reply, I really appreciate it
Basseducer
Mumpy, I guess any of the wire formers will work. I have a Hagen's and I make that same loop with swivels attached.
ROWINGADUBAY
A basic pair of round nose jewelers pliers will work
archeryrob
A basic pair of round nose jewelers pliers will work I use the same and bend loops all the time. I sent you a PM on twisting wire. Here is what I was explaining. This is Salty showing how to twit his lure kits on the end of a plug, but bending all loops is the same. You don't have to have the fancy wire twisters unless you are making a whole bunch. Round nose pliers can do it all.
Mumpy
I think that will have to be what I want to do, I think that is going to work for me. Thank you for the video, makes everything come together for me.
