Saugerman Posted March 24, 2013 Report Share Posted March 24, 2013 I agree on the fat will get rancid,but before I made my own soft plastics,I used to use netbait products exclusively, and they claim to have pork fat added to their baits. basskat Posted March 24, 2013 Report Share Posted March 24, 2013 I would think you'd need to use un-cured fat. Bacon has all kinds of additives. How about plain old lard?
