2TBone Posted April 13, 2013 Report Share Posted April 13, 2013 I need some help with a project. I have an old bamboo fly rod that i want to refurbish from top to bottom. What is the best way to remove the old handle,seat,furels, and rod finish, and also the tip on the rod has a bow in it. Is there a way to strighten the tip. I did seriously look into making a split cane rod when I was a lad, but lack of a workshop and glass blanks became readily available, I changed my mind.
