A-Mac
What tools do you guys like to use for cleaning up the hook hangers/ line tie on your cranks after paint/clearcoat? I've been using a pointed diamond bit with my dremel, but I feel there is a better tool for the job.
quickdraw
I just put the tip of one side of a small pair of needle nose pliers through the hole and twist. The extra clearcoat and paint pops right off.
Seeking 56
For screw eyes I start with a Dremel and ss brush and then use a hot iron with the razor blade attachment to clean out the hole. s54
mark poulson
I use an exacto knife and split ring pliers.
quickdraw
I just finished the 4th coat of clear on some swimbaits with a hinge using 2 eyescrews. With 4 coats the screw eyes got filled in pretty good so I used Dremel with a very small size bit to get in and around the eyes and not cause any leaks. bassguy
I use the ss brush on my dremel and it clears the hole as well.
