cbj11lbs
So I was thinking, If you use hand injection or a small machine like jacobs or bears are you still considered a hand pourer? Hand Pouring has a nice ring to it I think
Bass-Boys
Thats a good question, my opinion is no. hand pouring is hand pouring hand injecting is hand injecting machine injection is machine injection
Travis
Not in my book. Hand pours really have been diluted over the years even before injection became so popular. At one point hand pours really meant something. You were getting a unique product that bordered on artistry with careful blending of colors, it was more of skill. Then it evolved into more just trying to beat the price of the name brand stuff. Colors well... more traditional southern bass fisheries (solid colors heavy on glitter). Just dump the plastic in and churn them out and just beat the price of zoom, GY, etc... Edited April 19, 2013 by Travis

FishingBuds
Old topic but always gets interesting. I came into the plastic world when the hand pouring was getting strong competition from injection. Currently I still do both.

bass4cache
I do alot of handpouring still and its definately an aquired skill. I use both methods now and I prefer the term "handmade in the USA"
