Tm Customs Posted June 16, 2004 Report Share Posted June 16, 2004 Trick Trout I used to make alot of topwaters and did alot of experimenting with a walking popper. I really dont make to many hardbaits anymore nowadays I pour alot of plastics, because I never got an airbrush to make nice paint jobs but I could carve up a bait or two. If you ever have some freetime give this a try. Popper with the bottom lip extending down more than usuall but shave the lip so its not a hard edge so it can pass over the water fast when you add the line tie point in down towards the water. This will make you bait a great walker and popper. To pop the lure hold the rod tip up and twich and to walk hold the rod tip down it works quite well. I made one of these and cought many fish with it just painted white pearl, with one of your paint jobs it shoul be dynamite. Tm Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
