Mad Moose Baits
Always willing to try something new, I contacted Artcrete.com and asked about their product and obtaining a sample. Here is the reply, which I thought was very helpful, from the company: Artcrete only offers sealers in 5 gallon containers. I would have no problem sending you a small sample for free. However, we are only allowed to shipout sealers by freight lines, regardless of how small the amount. Theminimum cost for the freight shipment would be at least $100. Honestly, unless you order around 20 gallons the price per gallon is quite expensivedue to the shipping. If you have any concrete or contractor supply typestore, or even possibly a Home Depot, it is possible they carry somethingsimilar. When looking for a similar sealer to the AS3000, basically justmake sure it is an OIL BASED ( NOT WATER) acrylic sealer. The AS3000 is 30%acrylic, the DC2500 is 25%. Basically look for 30, 300, 3000, ect. On thelabel of the oil based sealer and that should be quite similar. I canrecommend Clemons Concrete Coatings brand sealer. Hope this helps. Feel freeto let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. Hope that helps those of us not fortunate enough to have a contractor as a neighbor. Jcori, any updates or pctures? Would love to see how it is holding up!
mark poulson
That is an hones company rep, more interested in helping than in selling product. Good service, for sure. White Cap carries concrete products. So do all other building supply companies. Check out your local yellow pages. I agree, he repped his company well even though he knew there was no sale in it. I have offered him a free lure as thanks.
