Seeking 56
Has anyone ever used it as a sealer? I've been shaping a lure with a rasp and am thinking there should be enough of a bite to put a thin layer of bondo as a protective coat. But then, I'm thinking about impact and possible cracks? The additional weight will not be an issue on this lure. s54
woodieb8
bondo may fill pinholes. personally i wont use it. lepages nail holr filler is better. then use a sealer. years ago we tried that and fiberglass resin. they failed.

bluetickhound
IIRC Solarfall uses it to give his lures some detail and texture.... I'm pretty sure he did a video about using it....
kajay920
I have used the stuff in restoration uses. It works well when it is in a substantial mass. I try to back cut any recess that it goes into to help it stay in place if moisture get behind it.Thin coats often have an adhesion issue and will chip out. It's also a bit thick to be using as a skim coat. That is my experience anyway. Keith
