Skimpy
I want to get a baby brush hog type bait and can't decide what one to get. Del's http://www.del-mart.com/shop/product.php?productid=17264&cat=400&page=2 Bass Tackles's http://www.basstackle.com/Flippin_Hog_mold_p/flippinhogmold.htm Is there anyone else who makes baby brush hog molds? Bears are bigger than 4".
Bassinfool
Del makes a good mold but if you want to get it before Christmas you need to order through lurecraft as he has a reputation for pushing orders back for small time customers. My suggestion would be to see if lurecraft has the mold you want in stock and if not to buy the one from bass tackle because they make great molds as well. yoda
lurecraft didn't seem to have it listed but go with basstackle you'll be happy with both the mold and the customer service.

Skimpy
I have bass tackle baby brush hog and it is super. Fast service also! Is it pretty close to an original baby brush hog? I use them alot and looking for something really close to it. Thanks I got a few molds from Del's in the past and it did take for ever to get them. DaBehr
It's a tad on the thin side. Perfect size for smallmouth and I really like the 4 cavities. I like the Caney Creek 4.5" Boss Hog a little better http://www.caneycreekmolds.com/Boss-Hog--45_p_84.html PM me your address and I'll send you some of both to compare. Bass4Me
I like Zooms full size brush hog for flipping and pitching (pumpkinseed and green pumpkin). I do make 1 modification to all my hogs though and would make a mold with the mod instead of the original. Of course I dip the tail part in Chartreuse dye too. I remove all material in the red boxes because I do not like the chance of the loop hanging up on trees or brush. Brush Hog Mod Cuts.psd This is my finished hog and slides into weeds with less resistance also. robalo01
I have Bears in botht the 5.5 and 6.5. Don't be fooled by the size descriptions, they are very close to zoom's baby BH and original BH. I like the design better than BT or Dels. the Wings are longer.
bass100
Basstackle's brush hog molds are great. He has another type of brush hog that is even better but he only has the one size http://www.basstackle.com/product_p/515-1-1.htm It is the 515 creature mold. It is just a buggier type of brush hog. Skimpy
The orginal brush hog is about 4.5" long but if straighten out tail its about 5", Bass Tackles brush hog is a little shorter and too skinny for me. Does anybody have Del's? I know it will take awhile to get but might be worth the wait if it is closer to zooms. does anybody have the Kmolds brush hog? http://www.kmolds.com/index.cfm?carttoken=ATYC1XY052913031332&action=ViewDetails&ItemID=538668&Category=1942
