I make spinnerbaits here in Australia - ours tend to be a fair bit larger than the spinnerbaits over there due to the fish we target. I've been having issues sourcing good soft plastics locally at a reasonable price, I have been buying them over there, but long term, not today or tomorrow, I plan to pour my own. I've had a look around a lot of the mold manufacturers, and whilst there maybe one or two that may have promise, its hard to tell the quality from the not so quality. At the end of the day these are the types of molds I'd be looking for 8" Grub trail with a fat body something with a profile similar to http://bozosfishing.com/shop/grub-black-purple/ 4 1/2" Paddle Tail swimbaits, this is one where there is a plethora of molds, its hard to tell the quality. A lot of guys here are using lunker city shakers so maybe something thats similar. 4 1/2" Frog/Toad I personally like the frogs to have shad tail like legs, like a Sizmic Toad, most seem to have grub tail/curl tail legs. If anyone has any advice on these that would be great, don't care if they are injection or end pour, probably don't want a one piece mold, unless it was for the swimbait.
