jt_ncbassman
I just got done laminating a flatside bait with thruwire construction with D2T. This method is working fine, but I cant work on the lure for at least an hour and I have to use 2 or 3 of my baby quick-grips. I tried using 5 minute Devcon but that was a nightmare, completely ruined one bait. So I got to wondering about Devcon 10 minute and if any of yall have used it. It sounds like It could be perfect for laminating baits the way it is described on Devcon's website, and the working time should be about right. Any opinions? BobP
Sure - I use 5 minute epoxy because I hate sitting around waiting but whatever floats your boat! I like to fit the hardware inside so the halves fit together without any pressure needed to hold them together.
wchilton
Did the 5-minute epoxy set up on you while you were trying to get internal wire, etc in the right place? If so, you might just try using a few spots of super glue to hold things in place and then use the 5-minute epoxy when you got the final assembly step down to something simple/quick.
