carolinamike
Not to the public, just to people who are redistributing their product and under-cutting prices without devulging this information to them and advertising the product for sale on other people's websites that allready sells their product. Painter1
Well that is interesting. I wonder what they do next?

So you are saying when I buy there plastic I sign a paper that states I won't resell it? When I buy it it is mine or do they still own it till it is a bait. I am confused trade cash for plastic and I still tell you what to do with it? Are they not in the business of selling plastic? If someone is a distributor for them then they should not sell to the public. Am I right or wrong on this?
carolinamike
Frank, you're wrong and you know wrong. This practice is common in every business, some companies, to publicly advertise and sell their product, have set prices and rules, yes, even if you spend your money. I had a good conversation with this fellow last night and he was told that they could not sell him plastic. If you buy a McDonald's franchise you cant just go in and do what you want, you have to agree to follow corporate rules. To get closer to home, if you want to publicly sell LuckyCraft Lures you have to agree to their pricing rules even though you actually paid for them. Alot of companies have policies like these but I think you already know that. Sure, you can sneak and do alot of things but honest people dont operate like that. With that being said, I really don't think that all the information given about this gentlemen was correct. He is trying to start a part time Mom and Pop business, with Mom being the main overseer. He has done his homework and has his plastic situation under control and after our conversation he is owed an appology from me, and I do appologize. I wasn't given all the correct information and there is two sides to every story. He works full time and this is mainly his wife's project and like he explained to me, this is a part time business, not a full time venture. As far as him and the plastic supplier goes, I dont think he done anything wrong there, I think someone just shared information that they shouldn't have. He is already learning about people who jump from forum to forum and not trust some people even though they say that they have his best intrest in mind, its one of these types of folks that caused him his trouble. I do wish him and his wife the best in their business venture. Edited June 7, 2013 by carolinamike
