412BaitCo
Does anyone know where you can get these?
smalljaw
I never heard of the heads so I'm assuming you mean heads poured on titanium wire. If that is the case you won't find them, as I've told others, when terminator baits came out I had some that had open loops and you would lose the swivel and blade but the other thing was it didn't matter if you found it because you could not fix it and that is the problem. You can't do titanium baits at home because the titanium wire is very brittle, it only gets the flexiblequality after it has been tempered and unless you have a 2500 degree blast furnace in your home and the proper tempering times for the wire diameter it will be impossible for you to make them. The way that terminator does it is they bend the wire and after it is bent it is tempered and then poured, the snap back properties of the titanium wire allow it to be straighted out to put the clevis and blades on, so what you would need it everything bent and tempered before hand and that will infringe on the patent so you may as well forget this. I don't want to ruin your mood but if you use the search feature you'll see that this has been asked dozens of times over the last 5 years or so, and if someone did find a way or a supplier it would be known by now so that is also a reason you didn't get any replies before I took the job of giving you the bad news. 412BaitCo
Thank you very much for the reply. I figured this to be the case but wanted to double check it. Thanks.
412BaitCo
The last thread I found on it was 2004 so I wanted to make sure it was still the case and it sure is as expected.
Munkin
I have some soft-titanium wire heads, they bend back but do not snap back if that makes sense. Allen
