JoeyDaGreat
What are some other forums like tackleunderground?
EdL
try an internet search using 'fishing lure making forums'. There are other forums out there (too many to just list here) but there's only one TU and its the first site I go to. Other sites have posts that for an answer to go to TU. By searching you can save the names & links to your browser for the ones you like. Will save you typing in the names.
bassguy
You mean there are other tackle building forums, don't think so. Jerry
nova
TU is the only one I go to.
A-Mac
Larry Dahlberg has a forum. It can provide good info too, but nothing holds a candle to TU. The international reach is insane on this site.
BobP
Stripers Online has a pretty good forum. Bassresource.com and Bass Boat Central also have forums but they are secondary to the main thrust of the sites. There are a few sites that concentrate on pike and musky lures. None of them contain the detail available here on TU.
Bester
I mostly go between here and ohiogamefishing
Richard Prager
I find that most other forums are just small cliques and are very close minded. If you go against the in house Gurus, you get chastised. Everything, i've learned about tacklemaking I learned here. I would suggest that any newcomer read every.....and I mean every thread in the area they want to learn about as well as use the search engine. The search engine is invaluable because you get the opportunity to ready many different threads on the same topic as opposed to asking a question and receiving just a few answers or opinions. Works for me....!
subsailor618
This is, to me, the most informative and friendly site out there. I like the search function and love the tutorials!
joetheplumber
I've joined a couple others likes 360tuna just to look at some saltwater lures since that makes up 99% of my fishing but I only post here. Look all you want but there's no place like like TU.......none.
diemai
What are some other forums like tackleunderground? Don't think so , ...not with contents as extensive . Many angling or lure-related sites have luremaking sections though , .....and there are also more local sites in different countries , but rather impossible to participate , if one does not understand the particular languages . Nevertheless I find it worthwile to drop by , if one could find sucha site , often interesting things to see , even if one cant understand the text or video audios . ..........but none like TU , ....for sure ! Vodkaman
Stripersonline is a very good site if you have a lathe in your man cave. Lureandmore, an Australian site, is very good. A bit like Hazmail, coming up with different solutions to the same old problems. Dave
Jdeee
Here is a translated Italian site that has a lot of good info, some of it from a differant perspective. http://translate.google.it/translate?hl=it&sl=it&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fxoomer.virgilio.it%2Fcjbur%2F1indice_tema.htm

JoeyDaGreat
Thank you's for the info. I agree that tackle under ground is the best site for info on lure building but it doesn't hurt to have some others to visit

saltshaker
This thread alone should show just how informative TU is. Had I not ran across it....chances are I'd have never laid eyes on an airbrush.
rhersh
I have looked at alot of other forums, and none compare to TU.. To me it is the best forum on building and painting.
