AweStarCustomBaits
I am curious about posting skirt colors on here, like they have for the soft plastics with the cookbook. Maybe a picture of your jig and how many of what strands and color. Has this already been done? I'm new to making jigs and just curious.

BlueBird
hey, I am new to making spinnerbaits, I noticed you guys seem to be using mostly 3 tabs of skirting. I was only using 2. is 3 the norm? I am have been making them for bass, not musky, wondering if that would be different
Painter1
Between 50 and 60 strands is common. Many tabs have 20-22 strands ea. 2.5 -3 tabs is what I usually use. The hard part for me is getting the strands distributed evenly.

TxBuddha
Since I'm about to start building my own bass jigs I'm watching this thread with interest. I've tied flies and crappie jigs for quite a while now but bass jigs are "new ground" for me.
