Mr B
Hey Guys. I havnot had time to pick up my ETex yet. I need to coat some Spinnerbait heads with Clear Vinal. Any tips on speeding up the drying/Curing process. Heat? Cold? Humid? Dry? Any help would be great. Thanks Mr B
Richoc
Mr. B You will need to let the under coats fully set, dry heat helps alot. As it is the thinner leaves the liquid that lets it harden. Then brush dab the next coat, as to not spread your finish. Each time you apply, it will loosen the last finish, patching will be needed. So you got to watch it. I hang dry my vinal in the attic, drys them quick. But you got to get some ETEX. They will last forever once coated with it. The vinal is not tuff-enuff for your needs. (This is for Mr B. only as I know what he is working on.)
Mr B
Thanks Rich, I know I need the Etex. I just needed some emergency baits for the weekend (Night Fishin). I have a few more places to check for the Etex before I get nervous . Later Mr B
