Tony Posted June 4, 2004 Report Share Posted June 4, 2004 I started tring different paint thiners and solvent to make a pink stripe on my swim bait and found some MEK methelelethelkeytone at Walmart in the plumbing department . This is clear for cleaning off pipe. So I started adding the same pigments that I pour plastics with to make a paint . It works for me . You can put it in baby food bottles or something smaller and use a cotton swap for a paint brush . Just smear it on . It drys pretty fast . It melts the surface a small amount so the pigment sticks .
