cbj11lbs
Does anyone know how to produce core shots? They seem complicated. Thanks
gone2long
yes you bring both colors up to temp pour your outer color in the cavity and inject your core color, takes practice with pouring just the right amount in each cavity. do a search on YouTube there is a video on it makes it a little more understandable. Only on single cavity molds right? I tried it on a 5 cavity injection mold didnt come out...Hand poured mold worked but was not a true core shot.... Frank
This will work on a two cavity mold too if they are head to head. Come out nicer if the sprue is nice and long. Frank

TroutSupport.com
Ask Mike of Carolina Baits. He knows. I think for hand injection you'll have to fill only the sprue...not the mold, with the first color.
