mark poulson
I went into my rattle trap plano box this morning to put some stuff away, and look what I found" I don't mean to pick on Strike King or Lucky Craft, but their traps have suddenly grown spawing bellies. It's not the hottest year hear, so I know they've been hotter on the boat, but they sure swelled up. I'm going to coat the splits with crazy glue, to seal them, and then I'm going to throw them to see how the swelling affects their action. sonoman
When mine do that they no longer work, Peter Allen lure used to market a trap style bait with a large belly and as I recall were very popular for a while in central Florida...can't remember the name though. mark poulson
I'm just wondering why these two brands swelled up, and the other traps in the same box were fine. Has anyone else had that experience with either the Red Eye Shad or the larger Lucky Craft traps?
A-Mac
I've read about Aaron Martens insulating his bass boat lids to reduce temps in the compartments. As soon as I find a suitable material, I plan to do the same.
