andy1976
All the paints I've bought from them are excellent. They do half pounds and are also very helpful over the phone. I've purchased about thirty colors from them in three pound increments because I do big jigs. There candy purple is amazing. Sorry, I can't help with the specific color you are looking for as I do salt water. I do have there super mirror black and it's amazing. patrick reif
I'm not convinced that painting a jig head is for anything other than the fisherman. I've caught 100's of fish on unpainted heads, and can't see a difference in performance between painted vs. unpainted for a jig and pig. It does make a more finished product to the eye though. I would start with basic colors first; black, brown, olive green and white(if doing spinners). Since it's flipping jigs you're talking about, look into super durable paints. I ordered 3 lbs from allpowderpaints.com the other day. I blended a dark greenpumpkin by mixing army green, federal standard brown, and black green together. The color turned out exactly right. Mr B
Thanks for your replies guys. (Pactrick), actually I have been powderpainting my jigheads for over 20 year now. I am more looking for what actual colors people are buying from Columbia. Thay have soooo many different shades of black, brown, craw colors etc. I was just trying to shorten my "research" time and see if people have any actual "color codes" they are using from this company. Thanks again for your input. Brent
