dying round rubber

Dave

I do it all the time. you need a cheap pan and some RIT dye. heat up some water in the pan about enough to cover the rubber, add a very small amount of dye to your water and then your rubber. keep checking your rubber until you get the color you are looking for. I sent you a PM if you are interested in more tips. see ya!!

I am wondering where i could get some of the thick "tarantula leg" type living rubber. I wonder how well it would work either by itself or mixed in with some of the thinner stuff. I would like to dye some of it blue because most of the blue rubber im finding is a bit too dark.

I really prefer something similar to the shade of blue at the top of this webpage.
