BuckMaxx
I have been learning too hand dip bitsy tubes with aluminum rod. I have done a couple different laminate tubes with ok success, definitely good nuff to catch fish on. I am having a bit of problem cutting the tails. I do have a multi bladed cutter but spend a lot of time pulling the tails apart. How can I speed up this process or what is the best way to cut tails? Thanks! mark poulson
Someone here on TU mounted some pizza cutter wheels on a bolt, with thin washers for spacers, and it seemed to work for them. Use as many wheels as you need to cut your tails, and vary the thickness of the tails by the thickness of the spacer washers. Someone else mounted a series of single edged razors side by side and used that. I think you could use a plastic comb, and a sharp single edged razor, too, but it would take longer.
