Mad Moose Baits
For single treble inline spinners for northerns and musky, is .041" too light? The reason I ask is that I have the Twistech wire former and it can handle up to .041" with an adapter. I have .051" but making the loops and twisting by hand is a pain and they just don't have that "finished" look I want. Thanks in advance Moose
Griffond
Honestly on that one the question is are you fishing Northerns or Muskies... and what size fish... I came to the conclusion awhile ago to just strength test the wire with weights it just made sense... The size fish in my area really are not much more then 35-40lb muskie and that would be a monster so with that in mind .041 works but a big one will bend the crap out of it... Northerns here thou are like 14lb for a big one the 5-9 range is more average so .041 is plenty
