Painter1
I am looking for a longer shank hook for use on each of these 1.) Bulletnose Jig Mold http://do-itmolds.com/shop/index.php?route=product/category&path=1_7_19 2.) Worm Nose Jig http://do-itmolds.com/shop/index.php?route=product/category&path=1_7_233 I don't mind having them modified if I need to. The Gami V-Eye hook has the kind of length I am looking for but, of course, it doesn't begin to fit in either mold. I welcome your help. Thank you. andy1976
I use the #2 stainless or brass eyelet and a mustard 32786 flippin hook 60%. I think you have to straiten the shank a hair. David claw has a 6/0 and under equivalent thats cheap and really good. I do the 8/0. On the 3/4 oz. Ill send a pick if you need. I have spent a lot of time looking for a infer hook. This is the best solution so far for me.
Painter1
Thanks, Andy. I am guessing your electronic spelling helper turned "Eagle Claw" to "David Claw". Those tools can make for some interesting messages sometimes. I will look into those hooks, though I am still looking for a lighter wire alternative. Basseducer
Eagle Claw has a 574 and Mustad has a 32831, both are listed as long shank hooks.

clemmy
Look at the mustad 34184 for 60 degree and vmc 9131 or mustad 91795 for 90 degree..
CarverGLX
Gami 111. Longer. O'shaughnessy bend. Sharpest ever. Eye is taller from the bend but can be made to fit. May even move it slightly back in mold. Drill press with bit then flattened bit. Or probably even hammer. I use a hammer all the time to put in spinnerbait wires on jig molds. May be pushing it on that but at least have a place to drill. Good luck.
