Unknown "bandit" Flatside Crank

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I make crankbaits like the rest of you and know the work that goes into them. I ran across a couple of baits on that auction website that I just couldn't live without. They were listed as "bandit" crankbaits from North Carolina. Never seen anything quite like them with a reinforcing bar under the lip so I thought I'd give them a try.

Has anyone heard of these or know what they are? One of us probably made them....

They actually may be "That kind of bait".

The first Bandit crankbaits were wood, and sold in a pastic bag with white cardboard header with green printing. I've got. Few packed away, or I' d look and check o see if these match. Skeeter, Craig Cole or Rob Cochran should be able to tell you for sure..
