taylorbridges35 Posted October 14, 2013 Report Share Posted October 14, 2013 I am writing this post to review BASS MAGNET BAITS custom aluminum lure mold (actually the lack of service since i still have not recieved it). They make custom molds from your lure design as well as injectors. I ordered my mold back in July (Paid through paypal on July 11). I sent in my lure drawings and dimensions to the owner, Timothy Rickett. He said it would be no problem and usually he can get a mold made and sent out within 2 weeks. A month went by and I decided to email and ask him about it. I was very understanding when he told me that he worked for the DOD and was out of the country. I told him to not worry about it and that I understood. another month went by and still no mold. I emailed again, he replied back that he mailed my mold 2 weeks ago but some complications with the USPS sorting facility and that he had called and they told him that a supervisor would get back to him. He also said that if i didnt receive the mold with the next week that he would begin remaking everything i ordered free of charge. Once again I told him i understood as I too have had packages lost in the mail. I asked for the tracking info so I could begin to look into it as well and this is where communication has stopped. I have emailed, called, filled out contact us forms, and facebooked numerous times but no answer. I opened a dispute on paypal but it has not been resolved. I am beginning to think that it is just a lost cause and I just donated his business a chunk of money. Has anyone had any experience ordering from Bass Magnet Baits recently and have been in contact with him? I guess Im in the market to get another custom mold made...any recommendations?
