Roadkill
Anyone know where I can find the old style (60's) slip on skirts. I'm making a "Snagless" spinner from that era. Do not want umbrella or rubber band type. Tried Barlow and LPO but want a larger color selection and Hildebrandt is just to blasted expensive. Thanks for any help. gone2long
How bout Northland tackle they appear to have 3 lines of slip on skirts listed under spinner baits!
Roadkill
Thanks Gon2long. Checked out Northland, good product but to expensive. I need bulk, 100 or more at a resonable price (.35 to .50 per skirt). I know they're out there, just gotta find them.
JSC
Hi I belive Hildbrandt bought out the company that was makeing the skirts for them (I think it was RaT Trap) been a few years .. I think that is the only place that you can get them... Might Check out H&H possible that they might have a few ... Been several years since the old skirts have been available. The ones that Hildebrandt have - have a smaller collar as it just fits over the hook and not onto a holding stem for the "Sally" ... Hard to keep the "Tied On" ot "Banded" Silicon / Rubber skirts from "Flareing" and causing the lure to Spin" instead of the flat no spin of the "Streaming Skirt" Good Luck
smalljaw
What about the breather skirts from Barlows? They should work and they are less than 5 bucks for a pack of 10 skirts, less than $.50 each.
Roadkill
Hey, Thanks Smalljaw. Yes, I use Barlows a lot. They make exactly the slip on skirt I need. I'm just looking around for a place with more color selections at about the same price.

Roadkill
OK, Thanks to everyone. Looks like Barlow is still my best shot but their selection is still a little short. Oh well, you work with what you got. Hey Big Will, sent you the pics and my EBAY seller name. Haven't heard back so I hope you got it. I try to make good lures but I'm not very good at computer stuff yet. Anyway, thanks again to all..
