YosemiteSam
When you dissolve the styrofoam packing peanuts (1/2 pound) in the pint of Lacquer Thinner, will that keep for a few months on the shelf, sealed in a jar? If it evaporates a little, can you just add a little Lacquer Thinner to freshen it up?
Richoc
Yes, you are making laquer sealer that way. There are better things ti use also.
YosemiteSam
But Rich, I weighed a watermelon-sized bag of packing peanuts today and I don't think it weighed even 2 oz. The ratio of 1/2 pint of lacquer sealer to 8 oz Styrofoam.........it just seems like an awful lot of styrofoam to try and dissolve in 1/2 pint of fluid. If I were drinking Jim Beam, I know I could perform this miracle, but sober, I think it's about impossible!
