Roadkill
OK, need serious help from you guys who know Peacocks. Got a customer going to Brazil in Jan & wants me to make In Lines for him. Don't have a clue (Mine are all Pike or Musky style). So, I need size/style/color blades, best size wire, weight, size/style hooks, bucktail or silicone? In other words, help me build a Peacock In Line Spinner. This should be fun and thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
toadfrog
They do a lot of jigging for Peacock bass down there . They also use cranks . If I remember right the colors were pretty loud Flo. yellow , Chart and the like combined with orange and often blue .

scrubs
Did a quick lookup on Fla. Peacocks. see inlines like Panther Martins etc. Topwaters probably mean buzzbaits would work. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120318170801AAMMuUv Found a few more sites but it was duplicate info. All sites said work it fast so keep that in mind for the blades. Gold and bright colors were mentioned. Have him ask the guide service and build to suit. bill
Roadkill
OK, Thanks to all: Bob, Scrubs, Toadfrog. All of you, thanks. I think what I'm going to do is make him a couple regular In Lines and a couple In Line Buzzbaits. All in the loudest colors I got. I can make them pretty tough (Musky style) so they should hold up for Peacocks. If they do work, I'll try to post a pic so all you other lure makers will know we've got something going not only for Brazil but for our fishermen here in Florida too. Thanks again.
