Felix77
I have been doing research into pouring my own jigs. I came across this term when trying to use other hooks for which a mold was not intended. Not sure what it means. Anyone know?
LIARS CORNER
its the thin line of lead that you get around the jig were the mold closes if the mold dose not close properly

PeteZipczech
I think it refers to any time the material used for molding (lead in this case) breaks the molds barriers and goes places that it wasn't intended to go. It "flashes" into areas that it wasn't intended to be, like down a hook shank or into the hook eye area or in extreme cases EVERYWHERE.
