I need to know what type of paint works best out of an air brush and where I can buy it? Also what kind of clear do you use? Coley Posted June 20, 2004 Report Share Posted June 20, 2004 The paints available out there are many. Some use Createx, waterbase, no thinning required. Some use lacquer. Mostly, I use a waterbased craft paint from Walmart. Color selection is great and the cost is cheap. To me its not really the paint, its the clearcoat that protects the paint.
