The Dutchman
Looking for Hilt's Bullet Slip Sinker Mold(s) either 1/8 - 1/2 or 1/8-5/16. The email I received from them were they were both "out of stock" and have been for ever. Can anyone help?
gone2long
Do a search someone was asking about them on another thread and there were a few places suggested.
Kasilofchrisn
Another option is this Shawn Collins mold. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Freshwater-Worm-Weight-Concave-sinker-mold-1-8-1oz-CNC-Aluminum-/111228917015?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19e5c29517 A bit spendier but does include all the sizes you are looking for. I have several of Shawns molds and they are first class molds. I have never had any issues buying from shawn and I own at least 8 or 10 of his molds. The email I received from them were they were both "out of stock" and have been for ever. Can anyone help? Buying this mold from Hilt's which now is Dolphin is a lost cause. I have tried every other month and called them for two years straight and they were always out of stock. I spoke to a lady there and she told me that they will replenish stock when they make a production run of molds. Well that was 3 years ago, and I see it still hasn't happened. Soooo I gave up on them. Best to get them on e-bay if you can find a good set, or custom made.
shastaron
I have the Hilt's mold that I got a few years back from Dolphin. They are a POS. I won't pour them unless I absolutely have to. If I was in the market I would take a look at the Shawn Collins mold listed above. Costs more but in the long run I would save money from all the stuff I would break from throwing the Hilts every time I try and use it. EironBreaker
I second the Collins mold also, pricey but quality. I'm glad he's selling on Ebay so you can actually get the mold right after you pay for it. I bought one of the Hilts bullet molds on Ebay several years ago, glad I grabbed it up then!
