Recommended Posts

Been lurking around on this site for some time now and decided to sign up so here is my first post. I have been making jigs in my basement for a few months now and decided to look through the recipe topic and looks like a lot of guys use fishingskirts.com is this because of the best prices, color options or..... Thanks for the help.

Both ... They rarely don't have something I am looking for. That is usually when they are out of stock on it. Prices are great, customer service is great! I like their weed guards better also ... They have a welded end so you dont have these strands going everywhere trying to glue in the weed guard.

Welcome to the board, like everyone else here you will find that a single source does not have everything and often end up using several vendors for different supplies. Fishingskirts dot com has the best prices and selection but Lure Parts Online has a great selection and with quantity discounts they often have better pricing when they have a sale. The other thing is material type, from what I understand there is only a few companies that produce skirt material so the material is often different from one vendor to another and different meaning color, maybe a little stiffer or thicker and in the case of new stuff like the ripple cut material or the bio-silk, which is awesome, for the specialty stuff you need to use Barlows, or Lure Parts Online.
