Stocking A Web Store

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine has been displaying some of my baits at trade shows along with his other products.  Now he plans to open a web store.  He wants to put my baits on the site.

My question is:  Should I make only baits as they are ordered or should I make up a bunch for stock.  I'm not sure what to do as there are many colors and sizes of 4 different styles of jigs, tubes, craws, plastic sticks, and some crappie baits.

He's carrying about 1300 assorted baits with him at the trade shows and most are less than 12 or each color/variety size.

Yep that has been my thinking lately also. I just don't want making baits for him to get in the way of my March-October fishing. I don't go often in this kind of weather, but when those big whites get on the A-rig in upper Bull Shoals and the prespawn lmb move in at Stockton, I don't want to be making baits.
