WidowMaker
Ive had several repeat customers and friends tell me i should consider contacting companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pro in an attempt to supply them with my baits. I am seriously considering the option of doing this. Does anyone here have any experience in dealing with companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pro? redg8r
I'm just passing what Ive heard from others, maybe Hughesy can enlighten a little, as he's had a few different products stocked by BPS but what I hear is with companies like Wal-mart, Cabelas, BPS you have to have your product offering in thier hands around a year in advance. If you make the cut, they want to stock a pretty good sized order in thier warehouse, up-front. I think it was Dick Nite from Dick Nite spoons who mentioned he was working his rump off trying to make his initial order of 50,000 baits to BPS
WidowMaker
Thanks for the reply. I dont think i would care much for trying to negotiate any type of deal with Wal Mart. Bps and Cabelas maybe but Wal Mart.....NO WAY!!! I cant say i agree with their past business practices or their present company-employee policies. Anytime employees are referred to as "associates" but are paid little more than minimum wage.....all i can say is.....LOOK OUT!!!.
