stretcher66
not sure this applies to lure building at this point, but it sure is awesome and would rock on a smaller scale for lure building.

SlowFISH
That's sick!!!! I hope it's a super specialized process so I don't have to try to figure out how to do this in my basement!!!!! LOL!! J.
Jdeee
Sorry can see it on a mac but not an IPad ??? Cool video, but they don't have a scale pattern : (
wchilton
You can buy blank sheets of the water transfer film and print any pattern you like using an inkjet printer. It has to be a printer that uses pigment ink. One of the on-line sites has a list of printers that can be used.

wchilton
Yep, ProStreetGraphics is the site that has a list of printers that will work for printing your own patterns.
RayburnGuy
Printing the graphics would not be at the top of my concerns on this technique. My question is if you were able to get a pattern for scales, or whatever else you decided to put on a lure, how would you go about lining it up so both sides were the mirror image of the opposite side? mark poulson
Ben, If a predator's eyes are far enough apart to see both sides of your bait at the same time, you need a bigger boat! Hahaha

RayburnGuy
Ben, If a predator's eyes are far enough apart to see both sides of your bait at the same time, you need a bigger boat! Hahaha That's the ones I like to fish for. Actually I was thinking more about people accepting the fact everything wasn't lined up. Your bait has got to catch the fisherman before it can catch the fish. Edited December 28, 2013 by RayburnGuy

saltshaker
I did a little research. Appears to be a pricey lil venture....even if Ben does figger out how to get the pattern the same on both sides.

sonoman
I have seen this done on gunstocks and rounded objects, it will be consistent but im not sure its possible to line up...
mark poulson
I'm guessing you would have to dip it with either the back or belly up, and it would be pretty much the same on both sides. Neat technique, but I won't be doing it any time soon.
